About Harburg, Rothenburg and Romantic Road Tour

Your tour will begin at Harburg, considered to be one of the oldest, largest and well kept castles in Southern Germany. It was a significant military stronghold throughout the 11th and 12th centuries. You will pass by the Swabian crater countryside along with Dinkelsbuhi before arriving to Rothenburg. You will be given 3 hours of stay here so everything will be full of fun shopping, lunch and sightseeing.

We will never forget to take you to the very popular attraction in Hermgasse, the Kathe Wohlfhart Christmas Store. It is a very huge store that provides a whole lot of things for Christmas. This would include ornaments, nutcrackers, Christmas trees, Christmas lights and so much more. You can constantly shop here if you are fond of changing Christmas decors yearly. Most of the highlights in Rothenburg can be found in Marktplatz like the very attractive Town Hall with its Rothenburg History Museum and a Gothic building of St. Jakob’s Church where plenty of lights are attached in its towering ceiling.

Before you return to Munich, you will visit the world’s major hop-growing area via Hallertau.
